Cameras, TV and Learning with Prof. Michael Schoonmaker

I am honored to inverview Professor Michael Schoonmaker, chair of the Television-Radio-Film department at the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University, about cameras, television and learning.

Schoonmaker is author of Camera in the Classroom: Educating the Post-TV Generation, which SpinEdu founder David Cutler wrote about in a Feb. 10 post, “Using Cameras to Inspire Learning.”

I also speak with Vaughn Schoonmaker, an associate producer at MTV Networks.

This post is also available on The Falconer, the online student news site of Palmer Trinity School. Michelson is SpinEdu founder David Cutler’s journalism and yearbook student, and a frequent SpinEdu contributor.

I am a student at the Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. I have a burning passion for sports and music.
